Drain Grade Calculator — Building Pad
Define the finished purpose, reference levels, underlying material condition and the evidence required by the receiving operation. Geometry alone does not establish structural or agronomic performance.
This reference assembles relevant extracts from the guide library. It is general project planning, not a local project report, verified specification or translated technical publication.
Capacity and Productivity Calculator
Capacity and productivity answer different questions. Nominal bowl capacity describes a planning load; production depends on load factor, cycle time, soil condition and the volume state being measured.
Before moving material
Identify capacity, realistic load factor and a complete cycle.
Receiving operation and checks
Use the estimate for planning and revise it from observations. Record whether the result is loose, bank or compacted volume.
The calculator produces an operating estimate, not a Dugong performance guarantee.

Fall calculation converts a slope and distance into a change in elevation. It does not decide which slope the project requires. For example, 300 metres at 1 in 5,000 gives a geometric fall of 60 millimetres.
Before moving material
Choose the measurement direction and confirm the units.
Receiving operation and checks
Compare planned end levels and intermediate checks with the design. Check millimetres versus metres and whether the entered distance is horizontal.
The example is geometry only, not an irrigation or drainage design recommendation.

An area-and-depth volume estimate is useful for a uniform layer. Length multiplied by width multiplied by average depth gives geometric volume; irregular terrain needs more detailed measurement.
Before moving material
Confirm dimensions and the volume state used.
Receiving operation and checks
Reconcile the estimate with material suitability and placement requirements. For example, 100 by 300 metres at an average 0.01 metre change gives 300 cubic metres.
That example does not establish the volume caused by changing an entire bay's slope.
